On Monday, March 10 2014, in Hanoi, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel JSC held the annual general meeting for 2014.
The meeting had the presence of Dr. Bui Ngoc Bao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex Vietnam), representative of Department of investment strategy and general affairs of Petrolimex Vietnam; Mr Le Minh Quoc, Deputy General Director of Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (MIPEC), concurrently Director of Mipecland JSC; Mr Pham Duc Thang, Deputy General Director of Petrolimex Vietnam, concurrently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Aviation and Mr Pham Van Thanh, member of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Aviation, concurrently General Director of Petrolimex Aviation.

The meeting has discussed and approved important points, including General Director’s report on results of performing the missions of 2013, business plan for 2014; report of the Board of Management’s performance in 2013, directions for 2014; Supervisory Board’s report on performance in 2013, directions for 2014 and Audited 2013 annual report.

Having the Board of Directors’ flexible directions in line with the market movement, the Board of Management’s drastic measures and decisions together with the endeavour of the company’s employees, Petrolimex Aviation has achieved encouraging growth in terms of sales volume and revenue in 2013 the. Sales volume soared 63% to 160,000 m3, the revenue grew to 2,946 billion VND.
The meeting also ratified the business plan for 2014 in which sales volume is projected to be 210,000 m3 (28% higher than that of 2013), net profit is projected to be 15 billion VND and dividend is expected to be 7%/year.

Recognizing the delightful performance of 2013, Mr Bui Ngoc Bao,Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Vietnam, praised the endevour of the company’s leaders, managers and employees . He requested the company’s management to set up a long term business strategy for the following years in which solutions for the market share growth, flexible financial policy, effective measures in cost management and investment must be paid most attention. He believed that the Board of Directors and the company will fulfill the missions of 2014 and the following years, especially the expansion of the current distribution network to Cam Ranh International Airport (Khanh Hoa Province) and Cat Bi International Airport (Hai Phong city).
