At 10am, April 29, 2023, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel JSC (Petrolimex Aviation) successfully refueled Bamboo Airways’ Embraer 190 aircraft QH1284 departing for Hanoi with Jet A-1 at Ca Mau Airport in the southernmost province of Ca Mau. The practice officially puts into operation the Petrolimex Aviation’s aviation fuel-supplying system at Ca Mau Airport.
The aviation fuel station at Ca Mau Airport is Petrolimex Aviation’s eighth station supplying Jet A-1 aviation fuel in Vietnam, after those in Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Cat Bi, Dien Bien and Lien Khuong airports.
Representatives of the Petrolimex Aviation’s leadership that directly instructed the official launch of the Jet A-1 aviation fuel supply system at Ca Mau Airport included Secretary of Petrolimex Aviation’s Party Committee, Board of Management member, and General Director Nguyen Van Hoc; Deputy General Director Tran Thanh Long; representatives of the company’s relevant units and HCM City’s branch, and staff of the aviation fuel station at Ca Mau Airport.
Under the direction of the Party Committee, Party Committee’s Secretary, Board of Management, Board of Directors, General Director, Petrolimex Aviation which clearly understands the important position of Ca Mau Airport in the socio-economic and political development of Ca Mau Province and the southwest region, had made all-out efforts to complete the project as scheduled, and timely put into operation the aviation fuel station at Ca Mau Airport’s aviation fuel station, satisfying demands of customers whilst ensuring strict standards in quality management and aviation security and safety both at home and abroad.
The official supply of aviation fuel at Ca Mau Airport is part of the strategy to expand and develop the company’s network. It is also one of the significant milestones celebrating the 15th anniversary of Petrolimex Aviation (April 28, 2008 – April 28, 2023). Equipped with an advanced technological system and experienced and professional workers, the Ca Mau Airport’s aviation fuel station is capable of refueling domestic and foreign aircraft, further affirming the Petrolimex’s prestige and brand name.
