Petrolimex Aviation
On March 31, 2025, in Hanoi, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation/PA) officially held the kickoff ceremony for the ISO 27001:2022 project, marking an important milestone in enhancing information security protection capabilities and moving toward international standards in information security management.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Quality Training Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality (QTC), a trusted partner with extensive experience in standards and information security.
Attending the kick off ceremony in person and providing direction on behalf of Petrolimex Aviation were Mr. Pham Huy Thong – Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; Mr. Tran Thanh Long – Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director; together with members of the Company’s Management Board and Supervisory Board, heads and deputy heads of departments, and directors/deputy directors of branches participating online.
Representing QTC - Mr. Le Minh Tam – Director of the Center, along with members of the project team.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Petrolimex Aviation – emphasized:
“Petrolimex Aviation is determined to take the lead in building and applying the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard in information security management in the aviation fuel sector. This will not only ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and data, but also enhance the Company’s reputation and competitiveness, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development—especially in a context where technology, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping business operations on a daily basis.”
At the event, Mr. Le Minh Tam – Director of QTC – reaffirmed QTC’s commitment to closely accompany the leadership, departments, branches and employees of Petrolimex Aviation throughout the project implementation, ensuring that it is carried out in accordance with the approved plan and achieves maximum effectiveness.
As part of the program, Mr. Tran Thanh Long – Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of Petrolimex Aviation and Head of the Project Steering Committee, and Mr. Le Minh Tam – Director of QTC, representing the two organizations, signed a commitment to jointly implement the ISO 27001:2022 project.
The kickoff ceremony was successfully held, creating strong momentum and reaffirming Petrolimex Aviation’s commitment to pursuing the highest standards, toward a future of secure and sustainable development.
