On January 12, 2026 in Hanoi, on the occasion of international partners visiting and attending the Ceremony celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (January 12, 1956 – January 12, 2026), Petrolimex Aviation Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation/PA) organized a series of working sessions with Glencore, CNOOC and Ocean Energy to exchange views, review cooperation results, and discuss development orientations for the coming period.
At the meeting with Glencore, representatives from Petrolimex Aviation included Mr. Pham Huy Thong – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – General Director; Mr. Luong Ho Anh – Deputy General Director, along with leaders from the Business and Finance & Accounting Departments. Representing Glencore were Mr. Quek Chin Thean – Asia Pacific Director, and Mr. Pham Duc Tuan – Middle Distillates Trader. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the Jet A-1 market. With strong supply capacity and a prominent role in the Asia region, Glencore continues to be one of the key suppliers, contributing to the stability and continuity of Jet A-1 supply for Petrolimex Aviation’s operations.
In addition, Petrolimex Aviation continued its discussions and working session with CNOOC. Representatives from Petrolimex Aviation included Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – General Director; Mr. Luong Ho Anh – Deputy General Director, together with leaders from the Business and Finance & Accounting Departments. Representing CNOOC were Mr. Chen Huichun – Refined Products Director, and Mr. Jia Lin – Jet A-1 Trader. At the meeting, Petrolimex Aviation expressed its confidence in CNOOC’s supply capacity from its refinery in Huizhou (China), which provides Jet A-1 with stable quality. The two sides continued to study and discuss potential cooperation opportunities in the future.
Furthermore, Petrolimex Aviation also held a working session with Ocean Energy. Chairing the meeting on behalf of Petrolimex Aviation was Mr. Luong Ho Anh – Deputy General Director, along with representatives from the Business and Finance & Accounting Departments. Representing Ocean Energy were Mr. SH Chun – Business Director, and Ms. Hennie Wu – Middle Distillates Trader. During the meeting, the two sides shared information, exchanged views, and updated each other on current developments in the Jet A-1 market in the Singapore region, while also exploring the potential for long-term cooperation.

The working sessions took place in a formal and meaningful atmosphere, closely associated with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam National Petroleum Group—an important milestone affirming Petrolimex’s journey of formation, development, and international integration. This was not only an opportunity for Petrolimex Aviation to reflect on its achievements, but also a valuable occasion to further strengthen strategic partnerships with international partners, towards the goal of sustainable, professional development and deeper global integration.
The meetings concluded with a high level of consensus on continuing to maintain, strengthen, and expand cooperation between Petrolimex Aviation and its partners Glencore, CNOOC, and Ocean Energy, contributing to ensuring a stable, safe, and efficient supply of aviation fuel, and making a positive contribution to the overall development of Vietnam National Petroleum Group and the aviation industry in the new phase.
